Rays vs. Brewers in the World Series: How to Listen Live on 95.7 WDAE and the iHeartRadio App

TAMPA BAY: The Tampa Bay Rays are chasing their first World Series title, and 95.7 FM and 620 AM WDAE, the Rays Radio Network flagship, has every pitch. You can also stream WDAE on the free iHeartRadio app.

The Fall Classic starts tonight, Friday, Oct. 23, at 8 p.m. ET at American Family Field in Milwaukee. Nick Martinez starts for Tampa Bay against Brewers flamethrower Jacob Misiorowski. Andy Freed and Neil Solondz will call the action.

The matchup

Two small-market teams are each looking for a first championship. The Rays won the American League pennant by beating Cleveland. It’s their third World Series trip, after losses in 2008 and 2020. The Brewers had the best record in baseball at 103-59, then swept the two-time defending champion Dodgers in the NLCS. Milwaukee’s only other World Series appearance came in 1982.

Kevin Cash, in his 12th season as manager, is leaning on the arms that got the Rays here. Drew Rasmussen gets extra rest before Game 2. “When Nick pitches, we win,” Cash said of tonight’s starter.

The series returns to a rebuilt Tropicana Field for Games 3, 4 and 5. That’s the Rays’ first World Series home games since Hurricane Milton forced them to Steinbrenner Field last season.
