It's still a long way away, but the remnants of Tropical Storm Dolly could be dousing South Florida starting Friday and through the weekend.
National Weather Service Meteorologist George Rizzuto predicts afternoon and evening storms each day, but just how much rain we'll get it is too early to say.
Rizzuto says the system, currently located north of the Dominican Republic, has only a low chance of redevelopment and with our increasing drought, any additional rain from an undeveloped system is good news.
However, the National Hurricane Center has issued a Tropical Storm Warning for portions of the upper Texas and southwestern Louisiana coast with Potential Tropical Cyclone 5 strengthening in the Gulf.
