Love Island USA star JaNa Craig is speaking out following her public breakup with fellow castmate Kenny Rodriguez.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Craig said she's ready to move forward following her recent split from Rodriguez, whom she dated for nearly a year after starring on season 6 of Love Island USA.
“I’ve gotten the closure I need,” Craig told the outlet. “It didn’t kill me. I am still here. God is good. Life is good, so it’s like, girl, I’m fine. I’m fine.”
News of the pair's breakup broke last month, sparking fan speculation surrounding the reason behind the split. In a statement, Craig described the situation as "terrible, disgusting, and disappointing."
"As you know, Kenny and I are no longer together," Craig previously wrote on her Instagram Stories. "Please know that I have seen all the breakup theories, and none have matched up to how terrible, disgusting, and disappointing it truly is."
"Discovering someone you loved isn't who you thought they were," she continued, "and that the relationship you thought you were building hasn't been genuine since day one has been truly devastating."
Craig said she's been able to heal from the breakup following self-reflection and prayer.
“When bad things do happen, I just reflect,” the reality star told PEOPLE. “I pray on it. I talk to God about it, and then I just literally move on. I’m really, really good at moving on. It’s honestly my biggest flex if I’m being honest.”
Craig and Rodriguez are currently starring on Peacock's Love Island: Beyond the Villa, which features the season 6 cast navigating their newfound fame and relationships after the villa. During her PEOPLE interview, Craig responded to fans who have pointed out alleged "red flags" in her relationship with Rodriguez.
“I hate that people online are telling me that,” she said. “When someone has a hidden agenda, they’re going to come off as genuine as possible to reach their goal. The red flags that people saw, I didn’t see.”
Following the breakup, Craig said she's focused her career goals and the friendships that have kept her grounded, including her "sisterhood" with fellow castmates Leah Kateb and Serena Page, the trio affectionately known as the “PPG.”
“I ride hard for them,” Craig said. “It’s not even a friendship, it’s a straight sisterhood. We’re on FaceTime every day.”
The Love Island star noted that she's grateful for all the support that her fans have shown her.
“I don’t think I’ve ever been drowned in so much love and support,” Craig said. “Everyone that has been riding for me since day one — I cannot let America down. I keep on working hard just to show my gratitude to them.”
