Fox News contributor Tomi Lahren slammed her fellow conservatives for criticizing Beyoncé's NFL halftime show on Christmas.
Overwhelming support from across the nation came after Beyoncé delivered a first-of-its-kind halftime show for the Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens game, which was streamed on Netflix on Christmas Day. Bey took over Houston's NRG Stadium, performing hits from her latest album, Cowboy Carter, for the first time.
However, some conservatives still seemed to find issues with a seemingly flawless performance from the Grammy award-winning artist.
Conservative commentator Nick Adams took to X to voice his criticism, accusing Bey of promoting "hyper-sexualized content."
"Fans were DISGUSTED by Beyoncé’s hyper-sexualized halftime show yesterday. Millions of parents shut off Netflix within the first 2 minutes of Beyoncé’s scantily clad gyrations and lip-syncing. Football fans would have much preferred a Lee Greenwood show," Adams tweeted.
Adams' comments were among several from conservative pundits trying to bash Bey. However, Lahren surprised many social media users with her take and called out the "faux outrage" among her fellow colleagues.
"Can we stop with the faux outrage about Beyoncé? I’m not her biggest fan either, but she put on a good performance and she is immensely talented," Lahren tweeted. "As conservatives, we don’t have to be outraged by everything, it’s a tired charade."
"Didn’t have agreeing with Tomi on my 2024 bingo card but here we are," one social media said in response to Lahren's comments.
"I can’t give u a 10 but ima give u [an] 8.5," another X user quipped of Lahren's take.
