Olympic sprinter Noah Lyles is engaged.
On Sunday (October 13), Lyles, 27, took to Instagram to announce his engagement to fellow Olympian Junelle Bromfield, a Jamaican sprinter who won a bronze medal at the 2020 Olympics.
Lyles shared a video of himself and Bromfield, 26, holding hands and walking into a home with candles. flowers, and rose petals. The couple made their way to the home's backyard, where a neon sign displayed "Will you marry me?"
"To My Future Wife," Lyles captioned the video."I Will Love You Forever đź’Ť."
Bromfield also made an Instagram post, sharing a video of her showing off her ring with her friends.
"ENGAGED💍🥺," the Olympian wrote.
Lyles, who won gold in the men's 100-meter final at the Paris Olympics, previously said he and Bromfield met on social media in 2017. The Olympic sprinter said their first date didn't go well so they decided to remain friends.
Lyles asked Bromfield out again in 2022 and have been together since. The couple made their romance public on Instagram in December 2022.
During a March interview with the Inside Track podcast, Lyles said his romance with Bromfield "is my best relationship ever."
